YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 23, ARMENPRESS. The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) mediated the transfer of bodies of Armenian soldiers from Azerbaijan to Armenia, ICRC communications manager Zara Amatuni told ARMENPRESS.

Amatuni did not disclose how many bodies were transferred, noting that it is up to the parties to disclose it.

According to Azeri media reports Azerbaijan transferred 6 bodies.

Earlier on September 17, Azerbaijan transferred 32 bodies of Armenian troops, and another 95 on September 20.

Azerbaijan launched a large-scale attack against Armenia on September 13, bombarding military and civilian areas in Goris, Sotk and Jermuk and other towns. 

The number of casualties on the Armenian side reached 207.
