Factual evidence has been obtained in criminal proceedings launched by Armenia’s Anti-Corruption Committee, based on investigative measures carried out jointly with the National Security Service, indicating that supporters of the Hayastan alliance, acting as a group, distributed cash payments of varying amounts to a number of voters in exchange for voting for the alliance in the parliamentary elections.
According to a statement issued by the Anti-Corruption Committee, the suspects have been detained as part of the criminal proceedings, while searches and other investigative actions have been carried out.
