Transportation issue will be totally solved in Yerevan within 3 years – deputy PM

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 20, ARMENPRESS. Armenian deputy prime minister Tigran Avinyan hopes that the transportation issue will be totally solved in Yerevan in 1-3 years.

“There is already a concrete concept for the capital city, the City Hall has a concrete program. We have organized two discussions with the participation of the Mayor of Yerevan, our international donor partners and the finance ministry. I think the final solutions are already understandable for us, a certain process is taking place. The Government is assisting the City Hall on solving this issue, and I hope we will manage to totally solve the transportation issue in the city within 1-3 years, and I am also confident that this process will lead to major qualitative change in terms of transportation organization”, Avinyan told reporters.
