Aviation regulator revokes Taron-Avia’s operating license

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 6, ARMENPRESS. The Civil Aviation Committee of Armenia has suspended Taron-Avia’s operating license after carrying out inspections at the airline and finding what it described as “deficiencies”.

The Civil Aviation Committee said Taron-Avia’s operating license was suspended “as a result of inspections carried out at Taron-Avia LLC and the recorded deficiencies”.

The airline was given a 6-months period to “eliminate the deficiencies”, but it chose to halt operations, according to the Civil Aviation Committee.

Taron-Avia’s license has been revoked.

Other details weren’t immediately clear.
