Projected growth indicator to enable having manageable risks, Finance Minister on 2020 budget

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 28, ARMENPRESS. The 2020 state budget envisages 4,9% economic growth indicator, which will enable to have manageable risks, and tax revenues will be 0,3% more, Minister of Finance Atom Janjughazyan told lawmakers at parliamentary committee debates of the 2020 state budget draft.

“It is assessed that both a comparably lower indicator – if foreign signals happen to be negative – as well as higher one can take place. Meaning, economic growth can also be for example in the range of 6-8%, however with a lower probability than 4,9%,” he said.

In terms of tax revenues, 1 trillion 602 million drams in entries are expected in 2020, which is 0,3% more than this year.

A 2,6% deficit is projected.
