PSRC Chair comments on ongoing talks over gas price

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 24, ARMENPRESS. Chairman of the Public Services Regulatory Commission of Armenia Garegin Baghramyan says there cannot be an increase in gas price supplied to Armenia as of January 1.

“According to the Law on Energy, after submitting the application the Commission has 80 days to review it. The tariffs enter into force 30 days later from the adoption of the decision. This is the requirement of the law”, he told reporters, commenting on the ongoing talks over gas price.

He said today’s talks are being held for having more long-term pricing policy.
