There are great demands on all officials in post-revolutionary Armenia, Security Council Secretary

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 26, ARMENPRESS. There are great demands on all officials in post-revolutionary Armenia, and some people may not be able to implement these demands, Secretary of the Security Council Armen Grigoryan told reporters after today’s Cabinet meeting, commenting on the resignation of Police Chief of Armenia Valery Osipyan.

“There are tasks according to which large-scale reforms should be carried out in Armenia. We must be able to turn all ideas and views voiced during the revolution into reality, but the heads of some agencies have showed to this moment that they are unable to do that, that’s why the PM made that decision”, Grigoryan said.

He didn’t release any other details on what concrete tasks the Director of the National Security Service Artur Vanetsyan, who also resigned, and Police Chief Osipyan have not fulfilled. Grigoryan said the spheres are such that many issues are secret.
