PM Pashinyan introduces interim chief to police force

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 20, ARMENPRESS. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has introduced on September 20 interim Police Chief of Armenia Colonel Arman Sargsyan to the top ranking officers of the force.

“In case of both the interim director of the National Security Service Eduard Martirosyan and Arman Sargsyan, if during this period of time we record satisfactory results then this status will have its logical continuation,” the PM said.

Colonel Sargsyan thanked the PM for confidence.

“I would like to thank you for your care, which our entire system has felt during the past one and a half year, a difficult period of time. I will do everything to justify your expectations. When I was appointed first deputy I said that I have been given an exclusive chance to participate in building the better country of tomorrow. I can say that we have a healthy core in the police, I am sure I will be supported, we will work for having a better country,” Sargsyan said.
