PM fires Police Chief Valery Osipyan

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 18, ARMENPRESS. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has submitted a recommendation to President Armen Sarkissian to dismiss Valery Osipyan as Police Chief of Armenia, Sarkissian’s aide Hasmik Petrosyan confirmed to ARMENPRESS.

“The order hasn’t yet been signed, but I think it will be signed today,” she said.

Osipyan was appointed Police Chief in May 2018.
