Unemployment rate reaches 13% in Turkey June 2019

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 16, ARMENPRESS. According to the data published by the Turkish statistical service, the unemployment rate in the country increased by 2.8% in June compared to June 2018 and reached 13%, Euronews reported.

The number of unemployed people increased by 938 in one year, comprising 4 million 253 thousand people.

Unemployment rate mong the youth aged 15-24 increased by 5.4%, and that among the 15-64 age group rose by 2.9% in June 2019 compared to June 2018.
