Head coach of Armenia’s Greco-Roman wrestling team resigns

YEREVAN, AUGUST 27, ARMENPRESS. Head coachof Armenia’s Greco-Roman wrestling team Levon Julfalakyan has resigned.

He announced his decision today at a meeting with reporters.

“I think time has come for my resignation and there are several reasons for that. I made this decision a month ago. During 20 years of my work I didn’t have any problem both with the ministry of Sports, the wrestling federation and the Olympic Committee. These three sides all were against to my decision. The main reason is the recent disagreements in the team. Some members of the team want their head coach to act with their dictation”, he said, adding that the split between the athletes can have a negative effect on the team.
