Tax revenues grow 24,7%

YEREVAN, AUGUST 5, ARMENPRESS. In January-June of 2019 more than 713,3 billion drams in tax revenue and state duties were collected to the budget, totaling 50,8% of the year program, according to preliminary data from the Statistical Committee.

Total revenues comprised 758,5 billion drams, while spending totaled 636,6 billion drams.

94,1% of the total revenue was formed from tax revenues and state duties, while 5,1% and 0,9% from other revenue and official grants respectively.

Compared to the previous year’s same period the budget’s revenue grew 24,7% (149,000,000,000 drams). Spending also grew – 4,3% (26,3 billion).

Around 233 billion drams are income taxes (38,5% growth).

23,3% of tax revenues and state duties comprise profit tax – 166,1 billion drams (69,8% growth).
