Official welcoming ceremony of Georgian President held at Armenian Presidential Palace

YEREVAN, MARCH 13, ARMENPRESS. The official welcoming ceremony of President of Georgia Salome Zourabichviliwas held at the Armenian Presidential Palace on March 13, reports Armenpress.

President of Armenia Armen Sarkissian welcomed his Georgian counterpart at the Presidential Palace.

The two Presidents welcomed the members of the Armenian and Georgian delegations, which was followed by the solemn march of the Guards of Honor and Orchestra of the Armenian defense ministry.

The Armenian and Georgian Presidents are expected to hold a joint press conference shortly after their meeting.

Salome Zourabichvili arrived in Armenia on March 13 on a two-day official visit at the invitation of President Armen Sarkissian. The Georgian President’s delegation includes justice minister Thea Tsulukiani, Vice Speaker of Parliament George Volski, MPs, as well as other officials.
