Iranian president rejects FM Zarif’s resignation

YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 27, ARMENPRESS. Iranian President Hassan Rouhani refused to accept the February 25 resignation of Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif, IRNA reported.

Zarif announced his resignation on Monday.

However, today President Rouhani in a letter said he will not accept the resignation of the foreign minister as the move is against the national interests of Iran.
