Finance minister dismisses concerns of lawmakers on “immeasurable” action plan

YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 13, ARMENPRESS. Finance minister Atom Janjughazyan doesn’t agree with opinions of certain lawmakers on the government’s action plan being immeasurable due to lack of specific figures.

“In addition to the government’s action plan, the government is also submitting other documents to parliament,” he told parliament today.

“It is submitting a draft budget for every year, and the involvement and participation of lawmakers in these processes will be very significant because to what extent will we be able to make judgements on a given program’s efficiency depends on it,” the finance minister said.

The parliament is currently debating the government’s action plan, and the main concern of opposition MPs is the fact that the program lacks specific figures.
