France arrests five suspected accomplices of Strasbourg shooter

YEREVAN, JANUARY 29, ARMENPRESS. French law enforcement agencies have arrested five suspected accomplices of Sherif Shekatt, the gunman who killed five people and injured 14 more during the 2018 December 11 Strasbourg shooting, AFP reported.

Shekatt was later eliminated during a special operation.

According to AFP, the suspects have been arrested in Alsace. Authorities believe they were the ones who supplied the shooter with firearms.

All of them are from one family.
