Armenian Ambassador meets with chairman of foreign relations committee of Egypt’s House of Representatives

YEREVAN, DECEMBER 18, ARMENPRESS. Armenia’s Ambassador to Egypt Armen Melkonyan on December 17 met with chairman of the foreign relations committee of the Egyptian House of Representatives (Parliament) Tarek Radwan, press service of the Armenian foreign ministry told Armenpress.

During the meeting Ambassador Melkonyan presented Armenia’s foreign policy and economic development priorities. The opportunities of development of inter-parliamentary ties between the two countries were also discussed.

The Egyptian official touched upon the current issues and challenges faced by his country.

The officials highly appreciated the centuries-old Armenian-Egyptian friendship and exchanged views on the political and economic cooperation agenda, as well as on a number of regional issues.
