NATO Deputy Secretary General highly appreciates cooperation with Armenia

YEREVAN, DECEMBER 18, ARMENPRESS. NATO Deputy Secretary General Rose Gottemoeller, who visited Armenia on December 13-18 on the sidelines of NATO Week, positively assesses the 25 years of cooperation with Armenia, reports Armenpress.

“We have worked a lot during these years. I want to express my gratitude and state how I appreciate our partnership. Armenia is the only one among our partners which steadily sends peacekeeping troops to Kosovo and also provides important assistance to Afghanistan. Armenia is also the country which is ready to make the military-medical and other units available. This is really appreciated and makes this cooperation firmer”, she said.

The NATO Deputy Secretary General said in July 2018 they are preparing for the NATO summit in Brussels focusing on two main tasks important for the NATO.

“The first task is to continue providing defense assistance to our allies, and the second one we call a sustainability plan. This means that we are working with our partners and allies to fight against the recent threats and terrorism”, Rose Gottemoeller said.
