Russia to supply new gunships, armored equipment & air defense systems to Armenia within CSTO

YEREVAN, MAY 22, ARMENPRESS. Russia intends to supply new armaments to CSTO (Collective Security Treaty Organization) partner countries, including helicopters, air defense systems and armored equipment, Dmitry Shugaev, the head ofthe Russian Federal Service forMilitary-Technical Cooperationtold Sputnik News.

“In 2017, Russia will continue defense products supplies inaccordance withthe mentioned abovetreaties [Russian defense cooperation agreements withBelarus, Armenia and Kazakhstan]. This, first ofall, includes aviation equipment, inparticular, helicopters, air defense systems and armored vehicles," he said as quoted by Sputnik.
