YEREVAN, MAY 4, ARMENPRESS. Armenia’s Government continues ensuring the collection of tax revenues in accordance with unadjusted figures of the state budget, Finance Minister Vardan Aramyan told reporters after the Cabinet meeting on May 4, reports Armenpress.
Initially, under the 2017 state budget it was expected to ensure collection of 1 trillion 135 billion AMD tax revenue, however, the Minister recalled that in April this figure was added by 50 billion AMD.
“In this regard we have clarified the program, this means that a program of 1 trillion 135 billion AMD was added by over 50 billion AMD. Of course there are some stipulations that may be we will not manage to reach this figure by the end of the year, we understand this, however, the April collections showed that we continue ensuring the trends of the first quarter”, Aramyan said, adding that in April 107.5 billion AMD tax revenue was collected, compared to last year’s 97 billion AMD.
