Richard Clayderman to perform live in Yerevan March 18

YEREVAN, MARCH 6, ARMENPRESS. French pianist Richard Clayderman will perform live in Yerevan on March 18 in the Karen Demirchyan Sports and Concert Complex. Clayderman will be accompanied by the State Chamber Orchestra of Armenia on stage.
Clayderman released a video message ahead of the concert addressed to the Armenian audience.
“Hello Armenia, this is Richard Clayderman. I was in Armenia two years ago and I loved Armenia and the Armenian people very much. I am happy to return and present my new program to the warm audience of Armenia. I am waiting to meet you on March 18 in the K. Demirchyan Sports and Concert Complex”, he said.
Famous songs such as Show time Murmurs, L for Love, Chariots of fire, Ballade pour Adeline, Corazon de Nino, Love at first sight, Childhood memories, Cinema Paradiso, Spartacus, Romeo and Juliet, Blue Rondo and others will be performed.
Clayderman has recorded over 1,300 melodies and has created a new romantic style through a repertoire which combines his trademark originals with classics and pop standards. He has devoted much of his time performing concerts, going as far as playing 200 shows in 250 days.As of 2006, his record sales number at approximately 150 million, and has 267 gold and 70 platinum albums to his credit. He is popular in Asia and is noted by theGuinness Book of World Recordsas being "the most successful pianist in the world".
