Death of Archbishop Mesrob Krikorian great loss for Armenian Church

YEREVAN, JANUARY 16, ARMENPRESS. His Eminence Archbishop Mesrob Krikorian has passed away aged 85 on the evening of January 14 in Austria, press service of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin told “Armenpress”.

Archbishop Mesrop Krikorian was a devoted servant and a senior member of the Brotherhood of Holy Etchmiadzin.

“The death of the distinguished Archbishop is a great loss for the Armenian Church. His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, the Supreme Spiritual Council of the Armenian Church and the clergy deeply mourn the loss of Archbishop Mesrob Krikorian, and pray for the repose of his soul”, the statement says.
