Employment record books to become obsolete in Armenia starting January 1

YEREVAN, DECEMBER 14, ARMENPRESS. The employment record books will be put out of circulation in Armenia from January 1, 2017.

Smbat Saiyan – deputy head of the state social security service told a press conference in ARMENPRESS employers must hand over the record books to a corresponding authorized agency.

“The authorized agency must scan all employment record books into a information system. The authorized agency is the state social security service. If we imagine the volumes of the work, then it is obvious it is going to be a serious workload for the service”, he said.
