At least 5 killed, dozens wounded in Iran train crash

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 25, ARMENPRESS. Two passenger trains collided in Iran’s central province of Semnan, the Iranian IRNA news agency reports.
At least 5 people were killed, dozens received injuries.
One of the local authority representatives said the exact number of deaths is not still unknown, the data will be updated.
Rescuers are at the scene. The victims are transferred to nearby hospitals.
The cause of the crash is unknown. Investigation is underway.
Reuters reports the crash occurred at the Haft-Khan station in the city of Shahroud, about 400 kilometers (250 miles) east of Tehran.
