8 dead, more than 100 wounded in Diyarbakir blast

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 4, ARMENPRESS. The explosion which rocked the Baghlar district of Turkey’s Diyarbakir has claimed 8 lives, Hurriyet quoted Turkish PM Binali Yildirimn as saying.
Among the killed are two police officers and six civilians. According to the Turkish Prime Minister, more than 100 people are wounded.
Law enforcement officials say 1 ton of explosives was used in the bombing. Nearby buildings sustained significant damages.
The Turkish authorities claim the attack was carried out by the PKK.
