Elda Green dies

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 27, ARMENPRESS. YSU lecturer, doctor of Psychological Sciences, Professor Elda Green has passed away, the Yerevan State University told ARMENPRESS.

Elda Green was born in 1928 in Tbilisi. In 1943, she graduated Yerevan’s #8 school and then the Foreign Languages Faculty of the Russian Pedagogical Institute. In 1955 she started working in the Yerevan State University. In 1971 she received the Associate Professor degree, and in 2003 Professor Degree.

Elda Green was mainly involved in Psychological –Linguistics, social psychology and legal psychology.

She has written more than 100 articles, numerous monographs, textbooks and educational books.

In 1947, Green was awarded the “Working bravery during the 1941-1945 Great Patriotic War” medal.
