Protest begins outside Turkish Embassy in Baghdad, Iraq

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 18, ARMENPRESS. Iraqi Shiite cleric Muqtada al-Sadrhas called on his followers to hold a protest outside the Turkish Embassy in Baghdad, Iraq, Hurriyet reported.

In a televised video speech, he urged his followers to protest against the Turkish troops’ presence in Bashiqa calling them to gather on October 18 in front of the Turkish Embassy.

In response to his call, many protesters starting from the early morning gathered outside the Turkish Embassy in Baghdad.
