Prosecutor General’s Office appeals decision on releasing Russian citizen Sergey Mironov

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 7, ARMENPRESS. The Prosecutor General’s Office of Armenia appealed the Kentron and Nork Marash Court’s decision on releasing Russian citizen Sergey Mironov, press service of the Office informed “Armenpress”.

The Kentron and Nork Marash Court refused the Prosecutor’s demand on remanding Russian citizen Sergey Mironov.

Russian citizen Sergei Mironov – who had been arrested by law enforcement officers at Yerevan’s Zvartnots Airport- is accused of illegal transfer of military technologies and money laundering, Ria Novosti quoted Mironov’s attorney Karen Nersesyan saying.

Earlier it was reported that 30 year old Sergei Mironov, a Russian citizen, has been arrested in Armenia. The United States had listed Mironov on the international wanted list for illegal sale of firearms.

Mironov was arrested in Armenia on August 26 at 16:30.
