Weightlifter Gor Minasyan wins silver at Rio Olympics

YEREVAN, AUGUST 17, ARMENPRESS. Two weightlifters from Armenia began competing at Rio 2016 at the 105+ men’s weightlifting. Gor Minasyan won silver, while Ruben Alexanyan finished 4th.

Gor Minasyan completed with a total of 451kg and won silver, third silver medal for Team ARMENIA.

Ruben Alexanyan scored 440kg total and finished 4th.

Georgia’s Lasha Talakhadze won gold in this weight division with a total of 473kg.
