Boxer Hovhannes Bachkov wins first bout of Olympic Games

YEREVAN, AUGUST 10, ARMENPRESS. Boxer, Armenia's team member Hovhannes Bachkov prevailed over a Venezuelan boxer in the first bout of the Olympic Games, “Armenpress” was informed by the ANOC.

Bachkov who was competing against Venezuela's Luis Arcon was one of the Armenian athletes performing on the fifth day of the Olympic Games. After 3 rounds Bachkov won 2-1.

Bachkov's next opponent will be China's Hu Kianxu.
