YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 3, ARMENPRESS. Return of historical Armenia’s territories is one of the variants of eliminating the Genocide’s consequences. The results of social research of the working group of Armenian State Pedagogical UniversityafterKh.Abovyan on the topic “Peculiarities of perception of the phenomenon of the Armenian Genocide and psychological and ideological impacts on public opinion” state about the aforesaid.

“The research was conducted in 2015, in the period of March 15 to April 15 and 560 citizens have participated. The aim of the research was to reveal the aspects of the opinions on moods and attitudes of public opinion over the fact on the Armenian Genocide which was planned and carried out by the authorities of the Ottoman Empire,” PhD, head of the research team Hovhannes Hovhannisyan mentioned in the interview with journalists on February 3, “Armenpress” reports.

The analysis has been prepared based on the data which can be useful for specialists and in state structures.

For respondents the variants on eliminating the consequence of the Genocide are: Full or partial returnofthe Historical Armenia’s territories, recognition of the Armenian Genocide as a fact, Turkey’s recognition of NKR and its providing material and financial compensation to heirs of the Armenian Genocide victims, etc.

Besides, according to the research’s data, France, Russia, Greece, the United States and Italy show positive attitude towards Armenia and its problems. Negatively disposed countries are Azerbaijan, Turkey and the “Islamic state".
