Vahan Babayan refers to rumors over possible change of the head of Armenian delegation to PACE

YEREVAN, JANUARY 19, ARMENPRESS. Member of Armenian delegation to PACE, National Assembly Prosperous Armenia faction member Vahan Babayan has not heard anything about the possible change of the head of the Armenian delegation. The MP told the journalists about this on January 19, referring to the information circulated by media that the head of the Armenian delegation to PACE Hermine Naghdalyan will be replaced by RPA faction member Samvel Farmanyan. “I have not heard anything about the change of the head of the delegation”, “Armenpress” reports, Babayan stated.

He added that instead of looking for guilty people, all should work assiduously. “The approaches of our rival states or the politicians acting against us who attempt to carry out anti-Armenian lobbying in Europe do not depend on the head of the delegation. It is not included in the functions of the head of the delegation”, the deputy said.

Vahan Babayan ensures that Hermine Naghdalyan perfectly fulfills her responsibilities. “We have never faced such a problem that the head of the delegation has not done anything depending on her. I think that quite a complicated reality has occurred in terms of geopolitical developments, and in this case there is no issue of individuals or members or composition of the delegation. You know that the delegation is formed from parliamentary factions and we are always ready to surrender our post to those who are able to work better”, Vahan Babayan concluded.
