Adversary fires nearly 8 thousand shots in direction of Armenian soldiers in 7 days

YEREVAN, DECEMBER 26, ARMENPRESS. Armed clashes took place on the contact line of Karabakh-Armenia opposing armies from December 20-26 during which nearly 8 thousand shots were fired in the direction of Armenian border protecting units from weapons of various caliber including 60, 82 and 120 mm mortars, RPG-7 and AGS-17.

As “Armenpress” was informed from the press service of NKR Defense Ministry, during the mentioned period the Azerbaijani armed forces also used 122-mmhowitzer D-30, TR-107 reactive rocket launcher, and ZU 23-2auto-cannons. The Defense Armyfrontlineunitsconfidently continue their military duty and fully control the border situation.
