Parliament adopts decision for putting draft Constitution to referendum

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 5, ARMENPRESS. The National Assembly voted to adopt the decision of putting the draft Constitution to a referendum. “Armenpress” reports that 104 MPs voted for, 10 were against and 3 abstained.

Republic of Armenia President Representative, Member of the Specialized Commission on Constitutional Reforms Vardan Poghosyan had presented earlier in his speech all the changes which had been made basing on the proposals of the MPs. He noted that all the changes which had been made based on the proposals of the MPs were approved by the President of Armenia and the draft was submitted to the NA in that very form.
