YEREVAN, OCTOBER 1, ARMENPRESS. Armenian side does not see a necessity to apply to the Collective Security Treaty Organization over the matter of giving appropriate response to the ceasefire violation cases from the side of Azerbaijan. Deputy Foreign Minister of the Republic of Armenia Shavarsh kocharyan mentioned about that after government session during the interview with journalists.
“There is no need to apply to CSTO. In general, it is very significant to have various contract responsibilities between the states, with different international organizations, which can support you in some situations, but the Armenian two sides rely on themselves first of all. Moreover, if any state tries to trust its safety, which is the most vital issue for it, to other countries, it will be considered as an unforgivable mistake”, said Deputy Foreign Minister, as “Armenpress” reports.
Referring to the issue of selling weapons to Azerbaijan from the side of Russia. Kocharyan mentioned, that Armenian side was always anxious about that fact and highlighted about it.
