France worried over Armenia-Azerbaijan border incidents

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 30, ARMENPRESS. France is deeply concerned over ceasefire violation cases between Armenia and Azerbaijan. “Armenpress” reports that the representative of French Foreign Ministry announced about this in a daily briefing for journalists answering the question of a journalist whether France condemns Azerbaijani initiated attacks which resulted in the death of 3 civilians and 4 servicemen.

“I want to refer to the September 26 statement of the Minsk Group Co-chairs, which particularly emphasized that the escalation of the situation is not within the interest of any of the parties. The statement urged the parties to apply mechanisms for investigation of incidents”, he mentioned.

Francois Hollande referred to Karabakh conflict in New York as well. To the question of journalists he informed that France calls all interested parties to spare no efforts to prevent the incidents on the border. He had emphasized that Paris feels responsibility as France is among the Co-chairs of the organization which aims to settle that conflict.
