Priests asks for intercession for world piece from martyr-saints of Genocide

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 28, ARMENPRESS. In Armenia, the priests of the Armenian Apostolic Church and of the sister churches visited Tsitsernakaberd, the memorial dedicated to the victims of the Armenian Genocide on the occasion of Muron benediction and gifted a wreath at the monument of the innocent victims.

As ''Armenpress'' reports, the priests asked the martyr-saints of the Armenian Genocide for intercession,wishing all the Armenians and all the Christians live in peace and solidarity. On behalf of Pope Cardinal Leonardo Sandri, praying, said. ''I ask for our brothers and sisters, who suffered a torturous path, to pray for the peace in the world, particularly for the peace in Syria and Middle East. We remember everyone who is suffering from the war, violence, terrorism now''.

He also asked martyr-saints for petition for the Christians, wishing them to be united, as that was Jesus Christ's will.

Then, the priests, accompanied by Hayk Demoyan, made a tour in Armenian Genocide Museum.
