Armenia Government to present conclusion on ENA sale within one week

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 17, ARMENPRESS. The Government will present within a week its conclusion on alienating 100% shares of “ElectricNetworks ofArmenia” CJSC to “Liormand Holdings Limited”. Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Yervand Zakharyan said the aforementioned in his interview with the journalists after the Government session.

“We’ll start studying the presented application in a couple of days and it will last a week.”, “Armenpress” reports, the Minister stated.

In reply to the question if there are any concerns over “Liormand Holdings Limited” being registered in an offshore zone in Cyprusand the possibility that the same thing that happened with “Nairit” would also happen to ENA, Zakharyan answered that he did not think such thing would happen.

He also added that audit will still be made after ENA sale.

“INTER RAO HoldingB.V” company applied to the Government of the Republic of Armenia with the intention of alienating 100% shares of “ElectricNetworks ofArmenia” CJSC owned by it to “Liormand Holdings Limited”. Republic of Armenia Government instructed the interested parties (Minister of Energy and Natural Resources, Minister of Justice, Minister of Economy and Minister of Finance) to study the application, alienation contract and make a conclusion.
