YEREVAN, AUGUST 18, ARMENPRESS. 40 year after its construction, restoration and preparatory activities are in progress at the Museum of History of Musaler battle. On September 20 the staff of the museum is going to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Musaler heroic battle. On this occasion the appearance of the building will be completely changed and more than 5000 samples will be exhibited in a new light.

In her interview with Armenpress the guide of Musaler Museum Lusine Voskanyan notes that the museum dedicated to the heroic battle will be turned into a symbolic ship and the stories of the people of Musaler will be told on the boat deck.

“The ship is very symbolic in Musaler heroic battle, as the people of Musaler were saved by ships, and this is the reason that a decision was made to turn the exhibition hall from within into a ship, on the upper part of which short films about the people of Musaler and the heroic battle will be shown.”, said Voskanyan.

“There are over 5000 samples at the museum. All of them were delivered to the Museum by the people of Musaler. There are tools, rifles, manuscripts, letters and pictures.”, says Lusine Voskanyan.

The oldest sample of the museum is the sewing machine. The staff of the museum calls the machine “fugitive”, as it served its master for a long time after the heroic battle, and then was handed to the museum. A part of the museum will be dedicated to Franz Werfel.

A fountain of a flower shape will also be constructed.

The events of Musaler heroic battle will start in the evening September 19, where the traditional preparation of “harisa” from lamb meet will take place. The main events, as well as the opening ceremony will be held September 20.
