Erdoğan did not hesitate to repeat false hypothesis of Turkish prosecutors’ having fled to Armenia

The President of Turkey Recep TayyipErdoğan spoke about the two previous prosecutors, who, according to Turkish sources, are in Armenia. “Armenpress” reports citing Turkish “Anadolu” agency the President spoke about this during the 8th meeting with the community leaders of different provinces.
Repeating the false hypothesis that “the prosecutors fled to Armenia from Georgia”, Erdoğancontinued, “Who knows where they will flee from there, it is another question. It goes without saying that we, the Turkish state, will proceed with the investigation. The will undoubtedly be caught somewhere and arriving here they will be brought to responsibility sooner or later. “
The Turkish media had spread information on August 11 that allegedly previous prosecutors Zekeriya Öz and Jemma Kaya passed to Georgia through the SarpiBorderCheckpoint and from there entered Armenia. The previous prosecutors had been dismissed and then criminal investigation was launched over the case of “Grandcorruption” in 2013 with which the then Prime Minister Recep TayyipErdoğan, his son and four ministers were linked.
