Charles Aznavour - in media spotlight at Alsace wine festival

YEREVAN, AUGUST 7, ARMENPRESS. French-Armenian legendary singer Charles Aznavourarrived in Colmar town to participate in the famous Alsace wine festival (Foire aux Vins d’Alsace).
Armenpress informs, referring to the website francebleu.fr, that the 91-year-old singer attended a press conference and looked “happy and relaxed”.
It is noted that Aznavourtook part in the cultural events organized within Alsace wine festival earlier, specifically the one in 2009. “We speak of wine, but it seems to me that when I came here years ago, it was a beer festival, wasn’t it?” joked the world-famous chansonnier.
francebleu.fr says that Aznavour will not leave aside his pen and will go on writing songs even during the festival. The singer confessed that according to the tradition he wakes up in the morning and begins writing.
Aznavour’s concert will take place on August 7, within the framework of Foire aux Vins d’Alsace 2015. The singer noted that he would perform both old songs and songs from his new album “Encores”.

David Guetta will also perform at Foire aux Vins d’Alsace 2015.
expo.fr informs that this year the festival will be held August 7-16.
