Turkey declares Mount Ararat and Tondrak “temporary military security zones”

YEREVAN, AUGUST 3, ARMENPRESS. A number of regions in Turkey have been announced “special security zones” by local authorities as a result of recent intensive attacks and terrorist activities in the eastern parts of the country. Armenpress reports the latter referring to “Anadolu” news agency.

TheAğrı (Ararat) Provincial administration has declared Mount Araratand Tondrak “temporary militarysecurityzones”for a period of 15 days.

A number of areas in Tunceli Province (former Dersim) have also been declared “special security zones” for August 4-19.
