Valery Permyakov’s DNA found on military uniform

YEREVAN, 8 MAY, ARMENPRESS. The General Investigation Department for Specially Significant Cases of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia has received the conclusions of the forensic-genetic expert examinations based on the criminal case being examined in relation to the murder of the Avetisyan family in Gyumri. As the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia reports to “Armenpress”, the DNA of culprit Valery Permyakov has been found on various items discovered at the scene of the crime, including a rifle and a military uniform.
Based on the conclusions of the expert examinations, the DNA separated from the stubs of cigarettes found at the house of the Avetisyan family coincided with the genetic descriptions of the DNA separated from the samples of the blood of mainly Seryozha Avetisyan and Armen Avetisyan with a 99.9% probability. The genetic description of the DNA having emerged from one male person, separated from the stub of a VIP type of cigarette found on the gas heater in the house coincided with the genetic description of the DNA separated from the sample of Valery Permyakov’s blood with a 99.9% probability.
