"Faithful to roots". Photo-story captured with Armenian costumes by participation of “Genealogy”

YEREVAN, 1 MAY, ARMENPRESS. Photo-story is filmed by the participation of the members of "Eurovision-2015" Song Contest representative “Genealogy” band. It is aimed at popularization of the cultural values, as well as to represent the features and uniqueness of the Armenian costumes to the world. In photo series 6 members of the band wear the Armenian national costumes of the 19th century and thematic jewelry.

As "Armenpress" was informed by the Public Relations Department of the First Channel, the member of “Genealogy” band Inga Arshakyan worn a garb of Hamshen during the shooting of photo-story. About fifteen years of being on the professional stage, Inga has had the opportunity systematically to be transformed and wear different styles of costumes, starting from the Armenian old costumes to the European style clothes. “When you wear costume, your glance and inner world is changed, because the appropriate dress, shoes, headpiece and jewelry seem completely re-change the human being. I respect this great work, as a fragment of an ancient culture and it is happiness that those fragments have reached our days and now we are the bearers of them,” she highlighted.
