Chinese cities join Armenian Genocide centennial events

YEREVAN, APRIL 27, ARMENPRESS: The Armenian Union of China held events devoted to the centennial of the Armenian Genocide. On April 24-25 remembrance and commemoration ceremonies were held in the cities of Nanjing and Shanghai of China.

The Armenian Union of that China informed Armenpress that the main Armenian Genocide commemoration ceremonies were held in Nanjing. Nanjing was selected as the Genocide commemoration center, as in 1937 about 300 thousand Chinese were killed in the city by the Japanese. And as in case of the Armenian Genocide, in case of Nanjing Massacres as well, the organizers do not accept their guilt.
