The venue for the ceremony was not selected by chance since that was exactly the place where Armenian intellectuals were brought from the European sector of Istanbul and driven to the depths of the country. As “Armenpress”’s correspondent reports from Istanbul, with pictures of Armenian intellectuals in their hands, the participants first sat in front of the building of the station, after which they pronounced the names of each of the Armenian intellectuals who had fallen victim to the Armenian Genocide.“It’s impossible to bring back the world that was eliminated, but recognition will mitigate the pain.
