Israel Charny suggests creating world union of nations suffered from genocides

YEREVAN, APRIL 22, ARMENPRESS. The Co-Founder of the International Association of Genocide Scholar and the former President of the Association Israel Charny has suggested establishing World Union of Nations Suffered from Genocides, which will be led by the Armenian people. At the course of the global forum titled “Against the Crime of Genocide”, Israel Charny underscored that he also suggests establishing a union of countries not indifferent to the peoples suffered from genocides.

As reports “Armenpress”, among other things, the prominent genocide scholar underscored: “In my opinion, it’s time to unite our efforts for the prevention of future genocides. And this suggestion I introduce may have a very benevolent effect on our common desire.”

“This will be of a certain importance for both the Armenian people, which was subjected to genocide, and the other people, which had to face with that atrocity, as well as, all the countries. I suggest creating those unions to maintain the right to live of the people suffered from genocides,” Israel Charny concluded.
