YEREVAN, APRIL 15, ARMENPRESS: In the framework of the tour Wake Up the Souls, dedicated to the centenary of the Armenian Genocide, on April 14 the System of a Down performed a concert in Lyon. Armenpress reports, citing Nouvelles d`Armenie that the world famous band also took a political commitment and the Lyon concert started with a powerful animation video, presenting the history of the Armenian Genocide.
The concert was attended by thousands of fans. The world famous band, headed by Serj Tankian, has planned 7 concerts in Europe, dedicated to the centenary of the Armenian Genocide. The last one will be performed in Yerevan on April 23.
