Concert dedicated to the Armenian Genocide Centennial in Strasbourg

YEREVAN, 13 APRIL, ARMENPRESS. On April 11, the La Philharmonie de Poche orchestra gave its 10th charity concert, which was held at the “New Temple” Church of Strasbourg under the patronage of Armenia’s Permanent Representative to the Council of Europe and was dedicated to the Armenian Genocide Centennial. As the Department of Press, Information and Public Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia reports to “Armenpress”, the orchestra was composed of musicians representing the symphony and philharmonic orchestras of Strasbourg, Baden-Baden and Freiburg, as well as the Altitude Choir led by famous Armenian conductor Vahan Martirosyan.

The concert brought together public and political figures, diplomats, journalists and representatives of the Armenian community and included performances of the works of Komitas and Babajanyan.
