YEREVAN, APRIL 13, ARMENPRESS: The United States of America will be officially represented on the centenary events in the Tsitsernakaberd Memorial and the members of the delegation will be appointed by the US President Barack Obama. The Ambassador of the United States of America to the Republic of Armenia Richard Mills stated about it.“The United States will be officially represented by a delegation, named by the president, at the memorial events in Yerevan. We expect to announce the members of the delegation soon,” the Ambassador stated, adding that the United States mourn the victims along with Armenia.

“Along with Armenia, the United States mourn the victims of the massacres and deportation of about 1,5 million Armenians during the last years of the Ottoman Empire. We should never forget this tragedy and should keep bright the memory of those, who gave their lives. We should work with the international community not to allow such horrible things happen again,”stated the Ambassador.
